Amplifiers for Closed
Circuit Television Video & Audio transmission using twisted pair LAN or
Telephone Cable. For interconnection of Video Surveillance Cameras, Video
Switchers, Video Quad Screen Processors, Video Monitors, CCTV - TV / VCR
Interface Modules, Duplex and Simplex Multiplexers. A flexible solution that
simplifies and reduces cost of installations, that allow utilisation of existing
Telephone or Local Area Network (LAN) cabling, that allow more discreet
installation of hidden covert pinhole video cameras and audio listening devices.

may save hundreds of dollars on coax cable and labour
and ensure that you get-the-job! Use in Residential Units,
Universities, Offices, Hospitals, Showrooms, Elevators, for Covert Surveillance.
Excellent results
with Cat-5 cable, we recommend testing to assess results with common 600 ohm
impedance Telephone cable.
-
Use an easily installed low-cost
single CAT-5 (4 pair) Cable for Video, Audio, Sensor and Power Supply, or
utilise existing LAN or Telephone Cabling.
-
6 equalisation settings for
Transmission of Monochrome or Colour Composite Video Signals up to 1.2
kilometres.
-
For Video Transmission less than
500 metres see: BALUN-100/75
-
Balanced Transmission virtually
eliminates induced noise.
-
System may be integrated with
PIR sensor, alarms, etc.
-
Reduces installation cost &
difficulties associated with high-loss, inflexible, traditional coaxial cable.

Recommended cable: CAT-5 UTP,
LAN, 4 pair (24 AWG, 22 AWG, 20 AWG)

Normally Category-5 LAN
4-pair Cable is used to interconnect the Transmitter & Receiver, the pairs
carry Video, Audio, Sensor Contacts and 24 ~ 30 VDC Supply (up to 200 metres)
to TX.
Transmitter:
Output: 12 VDC regulated for Video Camera, Audio
Amplifier & Sensor.
Inputs: Video, Audio, Sensor Contacts, 24 ~ 30 VDC via
Cat-5 Pair from RX (up to 200 metres otherwise 18 ~ 28 VDC from a separate
power supply, see note below **) .
Receiver:
Outputs: Two Composite Video & One Audio.
Input: 24 ~ 30 VDC.
Twisted Pairs:
Between TX & RX carry Video, Audio, Sensor contact conductors & DC Power.
When there are limited Pairs
available to interconnect TX and RX, the transmitter may be powered directly
and the Twisted Pair(s) used to carry Video and/or Audio.
**
Any spare pair(s) may be paralleled
with RX-to-TX DC Power conductors to extend DC via twisted pair length from
200 metres to 400 metres (2 pairs) or 600 metres (3 pairs).
